Hi,
I just recently had my second SP on my right lung (the first being more than five yrs ago). The doctors have been kind of unclear on this issue but I was wondering how long I should wait to heal after the SP has happened in order to return to running and lifting weights. I usually lift weights pretty hardcore, 5 days a week and try to run a couple miles a day but I don't want to risk making things worse by going back to working out too soon.
thanks |

Hi
I've had VATS 2 years ago and have been training hard for the past year and a half. The way I think of it is if theres more meat on me then im less likely to have another SP as whole body will be stronger. So don't hold back from working out at what ever intensity! |

Bumping this thread because I'm practically in the same situation as OP.
Had a small SP like a week ago and the doctor sent me home to walk if off.
I'm still in pain so I'm going to keep resting as much as I can, but I was wondering how long should I wait to hit the gym from the point where I'm certain the SP is gone?
Thanks |
